What to Expect
As a new client, you’ll start with a 90-minute, in-home consultation. This initial consultation allows our trainers to sit down and talk with you about the problems you’re experiencing and your goals for your dog. Once we have that information, we’ll create a customized training plan for your dog to reach those goals. We’ll also be able to recommend which programs would be the best choice for your situation and give you some options to choose from. If there’s time, we’ll even start training that day! You’ll receive an emailed summary of the session and our plans for going forward within 2 business days.
From there, the process can vary a bit depending on your goals, schedule, budget, and the frequency of coaching you’d like to receive. Weekly follow-up sessions (approximately 60 minutes) are the most common, but we can find a frequency that works best for you. Follow-up sessions may take place in your home or at locations you or our trainers suggest depending on the behaviors needing addressed.
We also offer other formats on a case-by-base basis, including Day Training (a trainer comes to you home and works with your pet while you’re at work during the week, and catches you up on their progress as they improve) and virtual consultations for long distance clients. Our trainers will discuss these with you at your initial consultation if they could be a good fit for your situation.
We offer an unlimited lifetime support guarantee for each dog that completes the recommended number of sessions with us. This means that we will support their owner through the issues we address in our sessions with them for the rest of that dog’s lifetime. Setbacks happen, and we will provide unlimited free email and phone/text support to try to resolve these issues. If it can’t be resolved at a distance, we will either do an in-home visit at the same hourly rate previously paid, or if we are unable to (outside of service area being the primary possibility) we will assist in finding a qualified professional to do the in-person coaching and brief them on what has been done thus far.
